Introducing your Student Representatives at City Campus.

Getting involved in student groups is a great way to learn skills outside the classroom and make a real contribution to improving your Campus.
The Student Representative Group City (SRG City) is the formal student representative group for Macquarie University’s City Campus students’. Participation in the group is open to all students studying at MQC including Foundation Students, SIBT students; undergraduate and postgraduate students.
The role of SRG City is to work with Macquarie City Campus (MQC) staff to look at ways we can continually improve the Campus. SRG City has been responsible for a number of initiatives and improvements since the group was formed in 2009 including; lobbying for longer opening hours for the Library; lobbying for longer hours for computer lab; introducing social events such as the Fresher Party, Christmas Party and Diversity Event. This year’s SRG is currently working with MQC looking at issues including; diversity of Unit offerings; making the student common room more student friendly; community events; and of course keeping social events going.
