How to defer, change or decline offer

 

Defer

Should you wish to defer your offer until the next available intake, you will need to inform Admissions Contact person, as listed on your offer letter or contact Macquarie City Campus Fax: +61 2 9964 6588 email: admissions@city.mq.edu.au Please include your full name and Student ID in the e-mail you send.

If you wish to decline your offer, please email us or contact the Macquarie Admissions Contact person, as listed on your offer letter. Please include your full name and Student ID in the e-mail you send.


Changing your course

To apply to change your course before you have commenced your studies at Macquarie City Campus:

Please contact the Admissions Officer listed on your letter of offer at least two weeks prior to commencement.

Changing campus

Please note: The steps below are applicable to new international students who have not commenced their studies.  Current students must apply through the Macquarie University's Course Transfer at  www.reg.mq.edu.au/undergrad/current/currentstudents/coursetransfer . This form is available three times per year - January, June and September.

Transferring from Macquarie University, North Ryde to Macquarie City Campus

If you have already accepted your letter of offer but have not yet started at Macquarie University, North Ryde and would like to transfer your commencement to Macquarie City Campus, please follow these steps:

  1. Download the Transfer Request form for international students.
  2. Send the transfer form to: email to your Macquarie International Admissions contact, as listed on your offer letter of offer;

Transferring from Macquarie City Campus to Macquarie University, North Ryde

If you have already paid and accepted your letter of offer but have not yet started at Macquarie City Campus and you would like to transfer your commencement to Macquarie University, North Ryde please follow these steps.

  1. Download the Transfer Request form and the Non-commencement form. 
  2. Send the completed forms to Macquarie City Campus Admissions admissions@city.mq.edu.au

Macquarie City Campus will contact you directly regarding the transfer decision.

Declining your offer

If you wish to decline your offer, please email us or contact the Macquarie Admissions contact person, as listed on your offer letter. Don't forget to include your full name and Student ID in the e-mail you send.
