The Course

The Master of International Business is a modern business degree with a global outlook. The degree provides contemporary knowledge and skills in core business disciplines taking an international focus. The degree promotes in-depth business studies through the provision of core subjects in international accounting, finance, marketing and trade, together with elective units chosen from a range of business disciplines.

Suitable For

In the increasingly interdependent world of business, employers are seeking graduates who have the skills to negotiate new ways of conducting businesses. With its four core subjects, the Master of International Business is a relevant degree that will develop expertise in innovative thinking, team work and both written and oral communication skills. The degree is designed both for recent graduates who wish to move into business, and for students with some domestic work experience, who wish to develop their career.

Future Career

Graduates work in General management, export and import management, management consulting, international licensing, business policy consulting, joint venture management, foreign exchange trading, international marketing.

Double Degree

The Master of International Business can also be doubled with the Master of International Relations over three semesters. This program consists of two semesters of International Business, and one semester of International Relations.


Eligibility

To be eligible for this program you must hold a recognised bachelor degree. Students who do not have the sufficient background in business may be asked to first complete the Gradate Certificate in Business first. Work experience is not a requirement for the Masters of International Business however can be useful when examining case studies, or discussing workplace situations.

English Language Requirements: IELTS 6.5

Suggested Programs of Study

The course is made up of four core units and four elective units. The core units are International Marketing, Internatioanl Trade, International Financial Management and International Accounting.
