Course Information
There are three types of foundation programs: Commerce, Mass Communications and Information Technology.
Foundation Studies prepare students for entry into the first year of a bachelor degree at Macquarie City Campus. The program is suitable for students who have not completed the equivalent of Australian Year 12. Students study preparatory subjects in a small, supportive environment and have access to some of Macquarie City’s best academic staff. Once qualified, students articulate into a Bachelor degree at Macquarie City Campus.

Entry into Bachelor degree
Upon completion of foundation studies, students can articulate into a bachelor degree at Macquarie City Campus. Students who pass foundation studies, but do not gain admission into a bachelor degree can apply to study an SIBT diploma either at the North Ryde or Wynyard Green Campus. Entry into a bachelor degree at Macquarie City Campus is calculated on a UAI equivalent then compared with the UAI requirements of the year applied for.
Requirements
Successful comletion of year 11 with reasonable results
English Language Requirements: IELTS 5.5
